1st Garmin, I like it
Got it Sunday evening. My girl got a Venu 3S and I was impressed with her watch and the features. I was rocking the latest G-Shock Rangeman but it seemed like the Instinct 3 Solar Tactical was better in every way. Lightweight, has a few bugs that restart the watch but other than that, I'm definitely

Is there a reason Garmin watches are never mentioned on LTT when they are talking about smart watches?
I've been rocking Garmin for years and recently moved up to a Venu 3s. Yes they are more expensive but for me I want something that does the health stuff well can give me some phone notifications and otherwise just stays out of the way with strong multi day battery life. Almost every conversation I

Fenix 8 from POV of apple watch user
Hi, I’ve put together some notes on my experience using the new Fenix 8 (47mm AMOLED). I switched from apple watch S7 (41mm) and I am familiar with Venu 3s, so that’s what I will be comparing it to. Disclaimer: I have technical background so I may be a little bit more critical than average user. Eve

The Love Affair is Ending
Garmin's sleep tracking is not nearly as good as Fitbit or Apple. Some garmins (with older sensors) have third tier accuracy on HR. The Garmin venu 3s has a newer sensor ,( the elevate 4 sensor iirc?)and it's HR accuracy is on par with Fitbit. Others complain that Garmin build quality on some models

Bye Fitbit Sense 2, hello Garmin Venu 3s
Unfortunately my decade or so of Fitbit watches is coming to an end. I have nothing really negative to say about Fitbit itself. I don't. Just... Google.
My wife and I both used to own the Sense 2, and hers lasted for just about 2 years and mine died a few weeks ago. Her battery died. Didn't last mo

A recent post got me thinking how important data is in making decisions about fitness and drinking
I treated myself to a Garmin Venu 3s last year and one surprising thing has been extremely eye opening. It ALWAYS knows when I drink. Even though I don't track my drinking in the app. Something about having more than two drinks in a night causes my body to have strong responses that it interprets as

Help! Can't decide on a fitness watch to track workouts
I want to start this by saying I have loved my Apple watch up until now and have worn it every days since I got it about 5 years ago. Unfortunately, the battery no longer holds a charge dying halfway through the day (sometimes even if I've had a super lazy day and not really used it). I have tried

Best smart watch for measuring heart rate?
I am a diehard fan of the Venu 3s. It does me WONDERS. I track my hr, hrv, sleep, body battery and stress levels (basically whenever I have a flare up it basically shows me how many "spoons" I have left for the day). Technically u can track hydration there too I just dont. It needs to be charged abo

Is there even a budget smart ring?
I currently wear a Garmin Venu 3s pretty much all the time but want to get a bit more insight into my sleep patterns. That is the only data I want that I feel my watch doesn't supply, everything else is pretty good on the watch
Can't really justify spending £200 on another wearable just for one da
