Orange solar ring
Hi all,
Instinct 3 45mm solar owner for a while and I have got a question, maybe you guys could help me out.
First off all, I’m very pleased with the watch model and his features!
What I started to dislike after a while, is the orange solar ring related to the total look of the watch. I prefer a

Just joined the Fenix family!
This is funny, talking about impulse. I had the i3 solar tactical, before i had the i2 solar and I love everything about the instinct. I have always loved the fenix line i just never thought id own one. Well, I made that impulse buy, I was watching video reviews etc...it was end of the year at work

Love my new instinct 3 solar tactical, but the strap….
Well, I’ve been using these for a few years on my I2 and 2x tactical. Never had a problem, half the price of the Garmin ultrafit nylon bands but just as good. Cheap enough to change every yr or so. +you’ll almost forget you’ve anything on your wrist. Image is on my new I3 amoled.

What is up with everyone wanting AMOLED and touchscreen? Go get a forerunner or Fenix or venu or RESEARCH THE OTHER WATCHES!
What you wrote, but I also don't understand people who are upset that Instinct 3 has no maps. This watch will never have maps. People basically ask for a Fenix 8 watch in an Instinct body for the Instinct prices. For me this watch must be basically a GPS enabled G-shock from Garmin. I like the monoc

What Garmin Watch for Surfr App
Instinct 3 solar, it has an amazing battery life between charges. Runs Surfr activity well. No touchscreen, just 5 buttons, which makes it very usable with wet hands and wetsuit gloves. Surfr will sometimes record and show a big jump on the watch, then when it uploads it to the app it deletes it. So

Venu 4 vs Trex pro 3
Not a good competitors, each has totally different purpose. I would not go with Venu, since it is more like a women/city watch. Trex is rugged g-shock like outdoor model. I have both Garmin Instinct 3 Solar 50mm and T-Rex Ultra 2. In general, T-Rex is like a heavy tank, with lovely display, smooth O

Really wanted the Instinct 3 Tactical…
I have the I3 Solar 45mm and absolutely love it. Did a software update out of the box and a couple of weeks in not an issue in sight! Very happy with my purchase except maybe an old set of eyes struggling with the smaller text but that’s my fault not Garmin’s! I had an OG I1. It’s a big upgrade and

Is the Instinct 3 really worth paying twice as much as the Instinct 2?
Garmin watches are an investment due to their longevity. As you read in other comments, people are still rocking GEN 1 with no issues. So, I would go with the new I3 model. Your looking at 5+ years of use easy, so just go with what you want. I have the 50mm I3 Solar and I love this watch. I went Fen

Instinct 3 AMOLED - Yay or Nay?
Go for it! The Instinct is the best value in Garmin's entire lineup. It has 95% of Fenix features at <50% of Fenix pricing, and better battery to boot. The AMOLED I3 outperforms every watch battery in Garmin's lineup except the F8 solar, Enduro 3, and I3 solar. It's perfectly legible in direct sunli

5 years and it doesnt even have single scratch on screen
My last Garmin, tactix delta solar with sapphire glass was scratched to bits. I work on tools, elevators and escalators. Using i3 solar the last 6 months and luckily no scratches yet. I don't mind though, they're rugged watches and meant to be used and abused.
