T-rex 3 vs Garmin Instinct 2
The instinct series from Garmin only offers breadcrumb mapping whereas the Amazfit devices offer a base map showing roads and trails

T-rex 3 vs Garmin Instinct 2
Have you seen any images of the Garmin Instinct 2 mapping ??? It’s nothing like the T-Rex 3’s. The Garmin Instinct is a rugged watch, but it’s designed for maximum battery life. The mapping isn’t as detailed or responsive as on the T-Rex 3. You really need to know what you want. I’d recommend the T-

Garmin vs. Pixel
I love the battery life and sport tracking. I've had Garmin Instinct 2 and 3 and now use an Enduro 3 which is my favorite. I just don't want to deal with how often the pixel watch has to be charged.

Wishing for a GBD200 with Tough Solar
I believe the consensus is it's pretty accurate. Up until about a month ago I used to wear a Garmin Instinct 2X Solar. When I initially compared them (wearing them on each wrist) the step difference was noticeable, about 3k - 4k (maybe more.) I decided to use my iPhone 15 Pro as a pedometer. Turns o

Garmin watch backcountry skiing activity
Yep I use a solar instinct 2 and love it. You just have to go into your activities and customize your watch face. TOD, vspd, current elevation, total elevation are my gotos. I've had zero issues with transceivers, and do enjoy the sync Garmin to Strava and gpx. I'm a professional guide.

Fed Up with Instinct 2 GPS - Should I Upgrade to Instinct 3 Tactical?

H10 Strap too tight. 3rd Party one in UK?
Speaking of accuracy I had my Polar H10 and Garmin instinct 2x solar running this evening and they both gave the same readings, but of course that's not during gym activity. I will take a gander at the Coros. Cheers!

Inexpensive trail ride tracking apps / computers?
Power meters can cost some coin. The cheapest I found was Sigeyi spider power meter for about $450 and it works great. Power meters will also track cadence but I do find and actual cadence sensor is slightly more accurate. You don't need to commit to an app eco system (Garmin/wahoo/etc) to use cheap

Switching from AWU1 to Instinct 3 (or vice versa). Any regrets regarding data accuracy?
I have Instinct 2X and AWU2. The sleep tracking is way better at Apple Watch. I haven’t gotten any problems regarding gps or HR accuracy on the Instinct! ”Is the data "cleaner" on the Apple side or "more detailed" on the Garmin side?” Yes. Hehe. I believe that the data is cleaner on the Apple side,
