Best replacement bands??
Can't beat the Garmin ultrafit bands. The most comfortable by far. I wear my instinct 24/7 also and just take it off in the shower to give the strap a wash. It dries pretty quickly.

Farming instinct 2x issues
Had the same problem on a 2s, worked fine for a year, one day suddenly the battery decided to give up when the night before it was over 50%, did it again on the next charge and so on... contacted garmin support that told me to reset the watch, obviously didn't help so they sent me a new Instinct E,

Smart Watch Insanity
If you are looking for rugged and don't care about typical smarthphone functionalities Garmin Instinct 2 is probably your best bet. It cos 2 hundred bucks and has all that you need, and the battery life is 24 days (2 weeks with regular actibity tracking).

Apple Watch Can Predict Heart Failure Using pVO2 Data with an AI Model
I have the Instinct 2 and I absolutely love it. Although I’ve never tried an Android watch. It’s not as “fancy” as an Apple Watch with all the colors and stuff (I prefer that), but it’s still great. I charge it to full and the battery lasts 25 days. That’s the part that blows my mind. My wife has to

Looking for a GPS watch upgrade — Apple Watch isn’t cutting it
I've (43F) only ever used the cheaper Garmin watches (Forerunner 35 & Instinct 1) & I don't see any reason to switch away. A week+ of battery life with light usage, 4ish days with heavy usage. Pairs easily with my phones & computer. Rugged AF, I'm not easy on my belongings & all 3 of my watches have

Instinct crossover
My story: 2 years ago I was debating between Instinct 2 Solar and Instinct Crossover Non-Solar (which I found used for 150$). Went with Crossover, best decision. Then after one year I broke it (see my other posts). Could have picked Fenix 8 Solar, but no I was in love with MIP + hands. Luckily my Ga

[Recommendation request] Durable analog watch recommendations( firefighter)
Firefighter here, I wear a Garmin Instinct 2S and I know of at least four other guys on my department that wear an Instinct 2 or 3. It has a much smaller profile than my old GShock, so it more easily slips into the arm of my turnout coat. It has a reliable HR monitor and Pulse/Ox sensor on it, but t

Upgraded
Nice upgrade. I wish Garmin kept the deep bezel though…it does so much to protect the screen. It’s a hard use watch, it’s supposed to have a deep bezel….I’d recommend putting a screen protector on. Had the instinct 2 for years and screen was spotless, got the 3 and had light scratches in a couple of

Tips hardloophorloge
