Apple Watch Can Predict Heart Failure Using pVO2 Data with an AI Model

I had been lifelong garmin wearer and (amateur) competitive runner for almost 20 years, but i am in the maintenance phase of life (I still run / race). But for me, my watch is becoming more of a lifestyle watch / heart rate monitoring tool. I would like to have closer analysis of any heart irregular

Garmin 970 vs amazfit t rex pro 3

I think if you’re okay sacrificing the torch, the Forerunner 965 could be the best fit for your use. It’s almost half the price of the new 970, has great battery life, and still gives really solid fitness/running data. The 970 does have the latest Gen 5 sensor, but for the most accurate readings, yo

Switch from AWU2 to Garmin Fenix?

Not the Fenix but I switched from AWU2 to Forerunner 970 since the battery life on the AWU was not enough anymore with tours getting longer and longer.I thought I'd miss the apple watch for its smart capabilities but never looked back honestly.Apple Watch is the better smart watch but for everyone t

Apple Watch owners: what makes you keep wearing it every day?

I hate carrying a phone so I use it for notifications, texts and emergency phone calls when out and about plus Apple Pay. I prefer my Garmin Forerunner 970 for exercise though.

How would you make a perfect running app?

Garmin watch :) Forerunner 970 is just perfect for running. Garmin’s phone app is trash, but I can type my trainings there or via web to sync with the watch and analyze the data afterwards. And the metrics are processed on the watch, so even without internet connection, I can run :)

Garmin Forerunner. Great GPS, fantastic battery life, lots of running data, and models at a wide variety of price points From the new Forerunner 70 / 170 models to the mid-range 570 and the top 970 model Or you can buy slightly older models like the 165, 265 or 965 Check out DC Rainmaker for reviews

Pace Pro or Garmin 970 I got for $470

Its kind of dumb to compare watch released in 2022 (955) with a watch released in 2026(pace 4) Garmin have improved a lot since fenix 8 imo.Their recent software updates to newest models (F8, venu4, 170,570,970,E3 etc) specifically due to moving to common OS have given notable health features. MIP lovers: what would you do when Garmin quits making MIP screen watches?

I'd switch to Coros.Frankly I feel like I'm tolerating Garmin, lately. Every single one of their new watches comes with less battery life than its previous models, the Fenix lineup is getting ridiculous, they didn't even bother making a small size MIP F8, the Venu 4 is now a 2 buttons only watch, al

How well would the Apple Watch Series 11 do for Ironman 70.3?

It's not going to last on race day. At minimum, you need an AW Ultra to be able to get through the day, and I would have serious doubts about it making it through a full Ironman. I had a Series 8 that died at mile 20 of the Chicago marathon, which was enough to make me switch to the Ultra. That was

Hello. Maybe I am a bit late but I was asking my self the same question recently. I am have. FR 970 training for my first 70.3. Lad year I did a short and Olympic triathlon. Both went ok and I prepared them with just chat gpt. Why I did not invest in a coach? Because it is expensive, because if you
