Forerunner 965

I picked up swimming several months ago. Just last week, I finally upgraded from my super old garmin forerunner 235 to a new forerunner 965. I was able to track a swim at the pool for the first time with the new watch and was stunned at how many calories that the garmin app and strata said I burned.

As a owner of several Garmin watches over years, currently have a Forerunner 965 I strongly disagree regarding the daily suggested workouts, they are mostly a joke. Garmin software is also so so, and the connect app is a mess. Garmin sleep tracking another weakness. So instead go for a Forerunner 96

I've had mine since August. All the sports activities I recorded up 12 October (4-5 per week) have disappeared. My experience is quite different, Amazfit's sleep tracking is analysis spot on, at least for me. First of all, it tracks my naps impressively, Garmin (my last Garmin was FR965) was all over the place. It also tracks incredibly well my night sleeps, I work shifts and my sleep can be quite inconsisten

I did not say Amazfit is similar to Garmin. If you used Garmin Fenix or Forerunner 965 you would now how far Amazfit is from those watches. Nevertheless, Amazfit tried to offer alternative, but failed at several key aspects: very short product support (even shorter than Garmin's) navigation problems

I wore my forerunner 965 on right wrist yesterday night and my HRV is showing dropped for the night (even though i had not any activity in the day). Has anybody else noticed it? What other metrics are affected by the change of wrist?

I’ve been disappointed with my 965 for following reasons but perhaps there are solutions I’m not aware of.

1. As another post mentioned, battery life is no where near the 20 days. Even with a Pulse Ox off and only short GPS runs a few times a week, i have to charge every 4-5 days.
2. Heart rate zone work

I don't know what would be a better option. I just run... I want an AMOLED display, useful yet well presented metrics related to running, recovery and wellbeing.
