265s, 570 or wait?
Garmin has confirmed that the 570 is the replacement for the 2xx series. There will not be a 270. So why wait? Your choices are 265 or 570. The general consensus is that although the 570 is an improvement over the 265 and adds new features, the price is far too high. A 965 costs about the same and h

Bought a Garmin FR 570, hated it, swapped it out for this bad boy!
It's crazy that the 570 doesn't have maps for that price. That plus the Garmin subscription BS = no buy from me.

X1 vs Forerunner 970 Vs Forerunner 570- Which is better for an amateur runner?
If money is no object, just get the 970. It has sapphire glass and a flashlight on top of maps, which the 570 lacks. Reviewers in general seem to think that Garmin priced the 570 too high, and the price difference between the 570 and the 970 is well worth it.

Polar Black Weeks Sale Has Started
I think Polar is handling this perfectly reasonably. They are passing the entire effect of the tariffs onto the U.S. market, where it belongs. Other companies, by contrast, have chosen to spread the price increases due to tariffs to non-U.S. markets as well, so that they can reduce the impact of tar

I've been waiting for the new Garmin Forerunners for months and thought if I could switch my Fenix 7pro, which I have been using for 1.5 years, for something lighter and with Amoled display.. But honestly it's a bit dispointing wiht such a high price tag...

Forerunner 265s or Forerunner 570?
DC Rainmaker has a first look at the 570 that summarises the main changes over the 265, but has not net written a full review. Expect that soon. You should wait for the full review of the 570 before making a decision, but on that first look article his summary says : I think Garmin kinda missed here

Is the Forerunner 570 the worst choice in Garmin’s current lineup?
Having upgraded to FR 570 from Venu 2 just a month ago (paying $200 more in my country) I’m heavily disappointed, and upset. Even after lot of research, I went ahead and got 570 despite the criticisms. I did the detailed comparison and I think what ever additional features 570 has, are insignificant

Watch recommendation! T-REX 3(non pro) or Forerunner 55
Edit: why not change the battery of your AW7? Shouldn’t be too expensive normally, and that may help you run the 15k distance without running out of battery. It should still be supported for a few years, so it won’t be obsolete immediately. The FR55,165 and 255 won’t receive any updates anymore, exc

Upgrading from the 245?
I would wait for the full DC rainmaker review before making a decision on the 570 In his initial hands on, he thinks it's far too expensive I think Garmin kinda missed here. Specifically, they missed the forest for the trees. Yes, there’s a bunch of sport profiles they added in from other watches, a
