If money is no object, just get the 970. It has sapphire glass and a flashlight on top of maps, which the 570 lacks. Reviewers in general seem to think that Garmin priced the 570 too high, and the price difference between the 570 and the 970 is well worth it.

Having upgraded to FR 570 from Venu 2 just a month ago (paying $200 more in my country) I’m heavily disappointed, and upset.
