Finally settled on Fenix 8 - as Garmin intended
I was complaining Garmin was holding back features until everyone bought Fenix 8 no matter what the focus is. As a very happy AW8 owner who is training for a half marathon, i started with Venu3s -> gave it back bought Forerunner 570 -> and gave it back to finally buy Fenix8. It is 47mm - i thought i

Withings to Garmin
Just setup my new Forerunner 570. So far loving it compared to the Withings scanwatch 2 and HR that I came from
[UPDATE] Initial use of the watch was a sad time. The screen would turn off/on (blink) while trying to use it and scroll through menus. The screen would corrupt itself and be unreadable

Should I buy the Garmin Venu 3 or wait for the Venu 4 to potentially come out, even though there's no official confirmation from Garmin?
With Garmin watches, it is not that updates have new features or a new version of look and feel. (Only Fenix and sometimes high-end 9xx Forerunners sometimes get feature updates). One exception was the Forerunner 255 getting a slew of activities to match the 265 (which came very soon after the relea

Is anyone satisfied with the T-rex 3 pro?
I have used the T-Rex 3 Pro for about two weeks now, in conjunction with my Helio Strap that I've been wearing for about 4 weeks. And I'd call myself very satisfied so far. I have to mention that these are my first fitness wearables, so I cannot really compare. As a tech savvy and relatively sporty

Sorry - Epix vs FR
The Epix deal is hard to beat. It’s an amazing watch with maps, sapphire, etc. the hard part about recommending it is that Garmin said they won’t be supporting the Fenix 7 and earlier lines long term with new features. It still gets security and bug fix updates though. Compared to the 570, the Epix

Venu 4 vs Forerunner 970 HELP!!!
I own forerunner 970 black version. Venu called my attention due to its leather version for formal wear. However, who in the world would run with leather band? I would need to be changing straps anyways. But all in all, if you go for venu 4 you will miss garmin daily workout suggestions based on pac

Garmin Venu 4 vs Forerunner 570
Garmin just dropped the Venu 4, and I’ve been comparing it head-to-head with the Forerunner 570 (launched a few months back). Honestly, these two are so similar that it’s hard not to ask why both even exist. But after wearing both, here’s what stands out:
- Design/Build → Venu 4 feels much more premi

New Watch/Workout tracker
Anyone have experience with either of these two watches?
Garmin Forerunner 570 Amazfit Balance 2
Currently have a Coros watch and I’ve had it for about 3 or 4 years. The screen is getting these small squares on it, unfixable by resets or updates. More recently the scroll dial has been hit or miss.

Choosing Forerunner 570 or Venu 4 over Forerunner 265 in 2025
I decided to buy Forerunner 265, thanks to the input from members here via post 1 & post 2.
But when I went to the store. I met another customer in the store and he had Venu 3. He advised that I should buy Venu 4. The reason was that the FR256 is based on the old platform while Venu 3 & 4 & FR570
