Leaving Garmin?
It was a few things. The main one was battery life. I run outside in cold winters and hot summers. With the cold, my watch battery would go down 20-40% during a run. Sometimes the battery would go back up after warming up. I did some trouble shooting with garmin but nothing really fixed it. Sometime

Looking for an upgrade
Sorry to hear you didn’t like your Polar M3. In my case the V3 is the best Polar watch I have had in over 25 years of Polar watches. I really like the AMOLED screen, and the battery life is quite acceptable. It gives me the metrics I want with no silly fluff. And I have no real issues with either ve

watchOS 27 to Offer New Watch Faces, Including 'Modular Ultra' Variant
Garmin watch faces are ridiculously bad, third party ones also tank battery so they’re non-starters imo. Their basic digital face still has a scaling error (40% smaller than the smaller screen FR265 gen) on the FR570/970 generation, even reported it to a buddy who works there, they’re aware of it an

Pace 4 or Garmin Forerunner 70?
I’ve had a FR570 that’s much more expensive but similar to the 70 just a few more features and better internals. I now use a Pace 4. I find it to be a much better training tool for what I do. I’m mostly a road runner and also lift. I had weird readings with Garmin where it would show my HR over 200

Coros or Garmin
Since nobody has put actual numbers on it: on the health data side the Pace 4 tracks 12 of the 33 signals I track across brands, the 570 tracks 19. The seven the Garmin has and the Coros does not are all-day stress, SpO2, Body Battery, floors, respiratory rate, skin temperature and a sleep score. No

265 to Pace 4
I was still in the return period for the 570 (REI gives you 3 months) and the Jakob edition of the pace 4 came out and it was too beautiful to pass up. Coros gives you 30 days to return so it was worth it for me to try. Ended up liking the Pace 4 over the garmin. HR tracking, GPS tracking and sleep

Considering a ditch of my Garmin FR 570

Suunto race 2 or Coros pace pro?
And as for me, I don't see any Garmin watch that would interest me in the price range I am choosing in. The forerunners are way too expensive and battery is underwhelming for FR 570, and I don't want to pay such ridiculous price for the 970.

COROS Nomad Day Three
I am in the market for a new wearable. I've had my Garmin for years now, but it's time for a little upgrade. I've been in the Garmin lineup for years now. But, the pricing structure has been making me disappointed. I waited for the new Instinct, but when it came out, it had the same sensor my curren

Apple Watch Ultra 3 vs Garmin
Only thing stops me from buying garmin is value preposition. Old models from garmin were priced right. The newer models are priced insane when you also take into account the built quality and software experience. For example : a $1900 fenix 8 pro/fenix 8/forerunner 970 and 570 has a good build quali
