Forerunner 55

Can't recommend the forerunner 55 now. I've had it for 3 years and the battery deteriorated faster than I thought. It has also started to randomly shut down DURING the workout which mega sucks. Get something with a better battery life. Coros seems to be doing some good stuff. The higher end Garmins

My garmin forerunner 55 doesn’t automatically end the workout. It says workout finished but the clock keeps going until I press stop. Just the other day I purposely went .25 over and it recorded 3 miles instead of the prescribed 2.75

Os Apps tbm são menos precisos, o Strava te deixa um pouco mais rápido e o Adidas mais lerdo. Eu paguei 950 a quase 2 anos no Amazfit Cheetah, e não posso reclamar, sendo facilmente superior ao já datado Garmin FR55. Pode ser usado pra corrida, triatlum, natação em águas abertas, tem o treinador zee

Been running for more than a decade and cycling since the pandemic. Bought my first garmin around end of 2024 and that was the cheapest offering (forerunner 55). Only needed it for the long battery life, one full charge can last you a week with moderate activities. TLDR: to expensive, cheaper option

bin von forerunner 55 auf coros pace 4 gewechselt. bin sehr zufrieden. auch die app ist viel angenehmer als die von garmin.

Exactly my thoughts, but it stopped working out of nowhere. Actually I bought a Garmin Forerunner 55 and to my surprise treadmill runs aren't accurate either so... I don't know what to do. Maybe the treadmill machine's bluetooth is somehow messing with the watches?

I'm trying to figure out if I'm messing up running the tangents or if I should just not worry about it.
