My garmin forerunner 55 doesn’t automatically end the workout. It says workout finished but the clock keeps going until I press stop. Just the other day I purposely went .25 over and it recorded 3 miles instead of the prescribed 2.75

Os Apps tbm são menos precisos, o Strava te deixa um pouco mais rápido e o Adidas mais lerdo. I'm trying to figure out if I'm messing up running the tangents or if I should just not worry about it. Last year, I ran the DC Rock + Roll half marathon and my watch showed me running a total of 13.40 miles. I made no effort to run the tangents, though. I'm a little unclear on what a normal amount

Hey, thanks a lot for the encouragement and the info — it’s really helpful as a reference. I have a Garmin, but it’s the most basic one (FR55). It doesn’t have live elevation/altimetry, I can only see it after the run.

Even my $100 dollar used Garmin FR55 can be off by 50-75m (mostly short). I doubt any watch is 100% accurate!
