Garmin Forerunner 55, $300, has barely left my wrist in 4 years. Improved my fitness and sleep. I've got 4 years of health and fitness data and never had to pay another cent after the initial cost. Still going strong.

Garmin all day long over anything else. Vívosmart is the most affordable. The current version is 5, but you can probably get an even more affordable previous model second hand on eBay or something. It would be better, IMO, to go up to the Forerunner 55 if you can swing it, but anything Garmin is goi

I am currently using a Garmin Tactix 8. However, there is basically no reason to be spending 1500 bucks on this watch if all you need is something to track your walks. The forerunner 55 is a great watch, super lightweight and very comfortable. It's actually the watch my work gives out to employees a

Refurbed Garmin Forerunner 55 from 'gpsgadgets' on eBay, got mine for £60 in Good condition and it was perfect, not a mark, battery seems to last for ages. They do have higher/better models too all at reasonable prices.

Have you looked at Garmin Forerunner 165? I am suggesting 165 because it is the cheapest of the more modern Garmin Forerunner models. If you are ok with an older model I believe Garmin Forerunner 55 is still solid, and Garmins last quite a long time. Of course more expensive ones have more features.

The forerunner 55 does the job. It’s basic when it comes to functionality. It’s been surprisingly robust given that I work in a hostile environment. Even the wrist band is very hardy! The battery lasts 12-14 days still after 1.5yrs. However, if it stops working, I would upgrade but would definitely

I got a great deal on my Garmin Forerunner 55. It was 1200 at cash crusaders. I have had it for 3 years now.

I love and own a Garmin Forerunner 55. Only thing I wish this watch had was a ballpark estimate of LT. Just like the ballpark estimate for V02. Having now since learned my LT zone it doesn’t really matter as much anymore. Other than that, it’s a great and affordable watch that tracks everything need

I use a Garmin (Forerunner 55) and really like it. I don’t really know much about the other watches you mentioned, so my opinion is probably biased, but I have been quite satisfied with how my Garmin does. It is quite durable as well, which sounds like a priority for you. Btw, what do you mean by “g
