Garmin user thinking about Coros…
I moved from garmin forerunner 265s to coros pace pro last Sunday. Best choice ever. The app is way more clear. Coros Workout builder... No comparison with the garmin one. The web app training hub is amazing. It has almost all the information of workouts that you can find within training peaks. Work

Swim tracking
I'd recommend the Garmin Forerunner 265S. It goes on sale to be less than $300 and is great for tracking swim. Utilize the swim planner on their website + it will even help you go through your entire set.

Garmin vs Coros
I use Garmin, husband uses Coros. I have a Garmin Forerunner 265s. I like the features that come with it, I run and walk daily, I like the run planning features, I like the ability to track my sleep. The interface is also a bit easier for me to navigate than Coros' interface. I like how customizable

What is the best sports watch for cross-country skiing?
I've had a Fitbit and two Garmins and they all cadence lock and give inaccurate HR reading during hard efforts XC skiing. I rely on a chest strap for accurate HR when XC skiing. Fitbit Sense Garmin Vivoactive 4s Garmin Forerunner 265s

Looking for Watch recommendations
I am not qualified to comment on all watches, only the ones i’ve owned. I used a. apple watch for years, then a year ago switched to a Garmin Forerunner 265s. The GPS is good, but for my purposes, is about the same as my AW (and my iphone for that matter). I bought the Garmin for the training progra

I am a pretty advanced runner (well. . .was since I'm now in injury recovery for going on 2-3 months) and I get by just fine with Garmin Forerunner 265s. It gives me pace, elevation, distance, HR (I do pair it with a Coros strap), and a shit ton of other metrics I don't pay a whole lot of attention

Telephone : yes or no ?
I train with a phone in my half tight pocket almost always, and I use a Garmin Forerunner 265s that I love. It’s just easier to listen to audiobooks, keep up with work (if i’m running during the day), etc with my phone. When racing, I run with my Garmin on my left wrist and Apple Watch on my right.

Coros Pace 4
Something I’ve struggled with since getting this watch (coming from Garmin forerunner 265s) - during races I need the lap announcement in headphones to understand where my pace is at without wasting the time and energy to look down at your watch constantly (which during short races accounts for time

HELP! Treadmill or a watch?
I just got a Garmin Forerunner 265s in January and it has turned around my entire perspective on activity. I am now running in my neighborhood regularly and looking for more reasons to get active, including at the gym. My vote is watch, just make sure you get one that has the features you actually w
