Runners: Do You Use Instinct 3? Pros, Cons, and Tips Wanted
Hi everyone,
I currently own a Forerunner 265 and I’m quite happy with it. I’m a hobby runner, training 3–4 times per week, and I occasionally swim. I don’t hike at the moment because of small children, but I really enjoy hiking whenever possible.
Recently, though, I started thinking about “sidegr

So long and thanks for all the fish
I graduated to Garmin at the beginning of the year. I do think that the Fitbit has its place though. Before the Fitbit I didn't really have a regular exercise routine. I didn't really look at steps much but at first I told myself "no matter what, every day I'm going to get 21 zone minutes every week

Coros Pace 3 VS Garmin FR 165
pace 3 is better spec-wise. pero tbh, fr 165 will be more than enough for 70-80% of the casual/hobby runners out there. I have an FR265 but at the end of the day, all I care about is my HR, Pace and distance which is available kahit sa entry level na garmin.

Garmin watch
Another vote for the forerunner 570 watch. I have both bike computer (Garmin edge explore) and the forerunner 570 watch. Watch provides bike features plus all the other stuff workout tracking, health tracking sleep scores, phone sync for notifications etc. Depending on your price point the forerunne

marathon plan
How does this look in terms of progression in a marathon plan?
Info about me:
(M) I'm a 22 year old, active individual. I've mostly been strength training over the past few years, but have set myself a goal of running a marathon by the end of September. In terms of running - I used to be a footba

FYI on running watches
REI and other retailers have a sale that started today on Garmin watches
I snagged a Forerunner 265 for $350. Looks like 965 is $100 off to $500 and the 55 is down to $170, but no deals on the 165, which is stuck at $250 ($300 for the music). 165 doesn't have training readiness, etc., so likely not

Running my first marathon Nov 1st. Is Runna an okay option to use for training?
I just used my forerunner 265 Garmin coach to train for a full marathon..I put the date of the marathon in and my goal time. It told me what to run every day, and adjusted based on my HR , Sleep, HRV data it worked well.

Garmin Forerunner vs Fenix
I’m not SF, but I wouldn’t base my decision of which watch to get for a future job you might have someday. You also don’t want to run the risk of looking like a wannabe who gets all this high speed shit like you’re SF and always talks about “someday” until it’s too late and then start talking about

Switched out my Garmin for the Pace 3!
My Pace 3 arrived earlier today and I was eager to put it to use! I previously tested out the Garmin Forerunner 265 but honestly, couldn’t justify the price even as an intermediate runner. After spending hours comparing it to the Pace 3, I opted to go with Coros as it‘s simply the better bang for my
