Yes third party ones for my forerunner 255 and vivomove style. I rarely use them despite how breathable and otherwise nice they are because they seem to make pulls and get stuck on my sleeves. Not often but enough to be annoying and cause an occasional torn thread. Maybe I will look for another styl

I also have a CGM and you can't connect it to Garmin directly (at least for the Forerunner 255), it uses the share feature in the Dexcom app on my phone. Also sometimes if I'm hiking or running on a trail with no signal, my Garmin stops displaying my blood sugar and I have to use my phone instead.

If you can find them at a great price : Garmin Forerunner 570 : it has the new more accurate Garmin Elevate V5 heart rate sensor and will receive new updates and features from Garmin. Congrats! Did your Forerunner prompt to calibrate the distance when you finished the treadmill run? For some reason my Fr255 does not give me the option at the end of a treadmill run, despite being >1 mile. Garmin tech support has been unresponsive this far.
