With Garmin watches, it is not that updates have new features or a new version of look and feel. (Only Fenix and sometimes high-end 9xx Forerunners sometimes get feature updates). One exception was the Forerunner 255 getting a slew of activities to match the 265 (which came very soon after the relea

Sorry na mess up yung formatting from the post but here: Hello, I recently lost my Garmin 255 and while looking for a replacement, I got curious about the Suunto Run. I’ve been using it for a month now and thought I’d share since I don’t see this a lot here. Mostly Garmin, Coros, or Apple Watch ang

Hey, my advice is don't overcomplicate. Get some running shoes on, clock on the wrist, hat on the head and off you go. I've done two half marathons with my FR255 and never bought a chest strap nor thought it would be necessary. There are some ways to do LTH testing, but honestly, if you're a beginne

Echoing another Redditor, I would say the best value for triathlon training right now is Garmin Forerunner 255. It has the longer-lasting MIP screen (always on, lasts for days), supports multisport, and supports use of a cycling power meter (both features missing from FR256). It's still available ne

The French grey / light gold one. I always thought I wanted rose gold and sparkle for everything but I guess my taste is catching up to my age. Beige or off white leather with brushed gold clasp should go with it nicely I think. And it will be a lot nicer than my forerunner 255 and a nylon strap in

Yes third party ones for my forerunner 255 and vivomove style. I rarely use them despite how breathable and otherwise nice they are because they seem to make pulls and get stuck on my sleeves. Not often but enough to be annoying and cause an occasional torn thread. Maybe I will look for another styl

Forerunner 255, 45% off. Matches my bike computer and it’s way better than a Fitbit for running

If comparing the Pace 3 to the 570, Coros has better battery life, more affordable, and most of the extra features that Garmin offers I don’t care to have. I have the forerunner 255 and it has more than I need. If I could make any change to the Coros Pace or even the newer Garmin Forerunners, it wou

Congrats! Did your Forerunner prompt to calibrate the distance when you finished the treadmill run? For some reason my Fr255 does not give me the option at the end of a treadmill run, despite being >1 mile. Garmin tech support has been unresponsive this far.
