Fenix 8 Pro is useless...

What brought people to Garmin? Battery life, MIP screen (for some), history of updating software for a long period and no monthly subscription. Prices were just a bit more expensive than an apple watch. Fenix 7 pro was the last great watch from Garmin. Hopefully mine will keep working for many years

Ultra users now that we saw new ultra are you getting it

No. With AWU3, we still don't get pretty basic sport functions:- 24/7 HR monitoring,- heart rate zones estimation,- proper HRV monitoring,- suggested workout,- real training load nor any load focus,- flashlight,- maps in the workout app,- GPX track importing into the map. I don’t see any difference

Bon finalement

One thing I like about COROS vs Garmin: It feels alive

Problem with Garmin, they update their watch only when it was newly release probably 2-3 yrs. Then whatever price tag it has, they will abandon once the new kid shows. I think the Fenix 7 / Pro series got it the worst, for premium price tag they barely get update after the new Fenix 8 shows. Coros m

Garmin Fenix 8 Pro MicroLED next to my old 6 Pro Solar

I’m kind of in the same camp. I’m not seeing the value in the micro led. It was supposed to bring better battery life as some sort of middle ground between amoled and MIP. according to Garmin’s website the display has the same PPI as well so you’re not even getting a higher resolution screen, it’s j

Coros is the worst - change my opinion

happened the same thing to me with a garmin fenix 6 pro. sent them a lot of logs from the phone, installed devs tools to extract them, and in the end they said yeah its broken. we can only give you 30% off a new fenix 8 (1k+ euro) yeah no thanks

What to Expect From Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4

The middle size (47mm) Garmin Fenix 8 is over $2000 CAD (after sales tax), which I cannot bring myself to accept. With rumours of a price increase on the Ultra 4 this year I find myself increasingly Amazfit-pilled.

Change Garmin Fenix 7x to Suunto Vertical 2 - does it make sense?

I recently went from a Fenix 8 to a Vertical 2. Keep in mind that while Suunto is lacking the first two things on your list, there are other advantages to Suunto. Offline maps and route planning, better app and watch UI, better physical hardware (Fenix 8 buttons are trash), more comfortable on the w

Ultra 3 v Fenix 8

I’ve had both. They’re just different and it all depends on your lifestyle. I went from a fenix 7x to an AWU3 then bought the Fenix 8 out of fomo on a deal…just returned the Fenix 8. Genuinely think the 7 line has everything the 8 does without the speaker which is really clunky and not useful at all

Upgraded from 1 to 3 + bands ask

I hear you! I’ve been researching up and down. I currently have an AW SE3 and I want a smartwatch that can scuba dive. I’ve tried the Amazfit T-Rex 3 pro. For the price it was decent, but didn’t love it, so I’ve returned it. Get the Garmin Fenix 8 pro for 940€. I freaking hated that thing. It’s prem
