Fenix 8 AMOLED or Solar

I not no experience with the AMOLED Garmins but I picked up a Fenix 8 51 Solar… no regrets. As someone else said. The back light button deals with low lighting and as for using it in the sun… top tier!

Upgrade or switch to something else?

I used Arccos many years ago and I still have my Gen 2 sensors that worked fine up until recently. But I don’t need or want to spend $200/yr. I don’t need crazy amounts of data. My distances are dialed in and I know where my game needs work. Also the Apple Watch app isn’t that great. I have also tri

Switch from AWU2 to Garmin Fenix?

I did the switch in the opposing direction, here is your best pros and cons in my opinion: Garmin Pros: * you'll get better training information* you'll have better battery* design overall is better in my opnion What I think you would miss: * cellular: even if you go with Fenix 8 Pro, the cellular isn't

Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is confirmed to have an 800mah battery, IP69k, and more! (official promo images)

So funny you say that, I have moved over to the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro and I never thought I’d get used to having all the buttons but I am. I still have the Apple Watch Ultra 2 bc ATT, but in the past year I’ve had the GW 8, 8 Classic, and the CMF Watch Pro 3 (still have that one) and the CMF even has a

Which Garmin devices support AllTrails?

I have had several Garmin devices, 2 watches and a cycling computer. The fenix 6 had an all trails app, the fenix 8 does not, BUT all trails has a 'send to garmin' and the route shows up in the navigate courses function on the device, so you should be good with most of not all

I have a 9 year old Fenix 5X why should I switch?

considering you dive - I would consider the F8 not knowing if it will include the dive functionality and inductive buttons of the F8. As they will both be running garmin's new UI it should get a lot of the updates of the F9 - and I doubt the F9 would include any significant leaps in terms of gnss or

Been wanting to buy a new watch and was going to buy the Garmin fenix 8 is there anything else anyone recommends

Had the Epix Gen 2 Sapphire for the past 2.5 years and loved it. Garmin recently sent me an upgrade to the Fenix 8 Sapphire and it is marginally better. I like the interface on fenix 8 over epix. Can't speak to forerunner..

Ultra 3 vs fenix 8

I have both. And I flip flop back and forth. Battery life, round face are the main draws for me to the garmin. The AWU is just more convenient for everything else. Apple Pay, tap to talk to reply to texts, the stupid finger double tap that I thought would be dumb but isn’t, the more accurate sensors
