Google Health Reviews: Complaints Grew 65×

I thought the fitbit air and Google health had shitloads of problems, then I bought a Garmin fenix 8 and oh boy... Is the app even worse and the watch itself Um not to sure I like it... (they serve different purposes to me but compete for wrist time). All my apple watch friends complain about them a

Has anyone else left Garmin for Amazfit recently? Just made the switch and genuinely impressed

Well, I have a partial list: - watch face delay when swiping up for glances - map render speed even with all layers turned off - stuttering with swiping glances - current bug where I change the display mode to always on/off is not reflected in focus modes (devs aware) - random restarts while switch

Is the fenix 7 still the move or has the fenix 8 been ironed out to be a superior unit? Let me know what you think!

The start of the Fenix 8 was garbage. No water because it just went out. No alarm clock worked. Garmin didn't just go broken off, etc. List was long and patience asked as with every new model at Garmin.

Ultra 3 v Fenix 8

I’ve had both. They’re just different and it all depends on your lifestyle. I went from a fenix 7x to an AWU3 then bought the Fenix 8 out of fomo on a deal…just returned the Fenix 8. Genuinely think the 7 line has everything the 8 does without the speaker which is really clunky and not useful at all

Triathlon Watches

Having not tried anything else I bought a Garmin Fenix 8. (HSA money is free right?) And I’m very happy with the battery life, GPS, and build quality, but god does their touch interface suck. It’s like 2010 software. I’m tempted to return it and get something else. Anyone else have beef with Garmin’

Official Q&A for Friday, August 07, 2026

I just swapped from an Apple Watch to a garmin fenix 8, the auto pause while on a run (like at a stoplight) feels a bit clunky. It’ll take 5+ seconds to detect I’m stopped and then 5+ seconds to start back up. Is this an expected wait time or have any of yall found settings to have it start/stop qui

AMOLED or Solar MIP ? Which one to go for 47mm ?

I went from a small Garmin 945 and bought an all sing n dancing Fenix 8 Pro 51mm, just because it was actually cheaper than all the other models and it was fab apart from the screen was wayhay too bright and the auto dimming/brightening was awful and can't be turned off, I returned it and just waiti

Fenix 9 to launch in ~3 weeks

Garmin gotta be kidding. I think they’re still King in fitness watches. (Coros is on the rise.) But they have too many lines and the generational changes aren’t enough to justify. Especially with their clunky UI. Gotta be a joke, man. I’m honestly done paying $1,000 for a watch too. I downgraded fro
