The funniest thing about this subreddit is how some users complain about Garmin not updating old models and then some other users simultaneously ask the community whether or not they should ugrade to the latest firmware lol. Asking the community if the latest release is causing battery drain is dumb

Switching from Garmin?
I can vouch for this. I'm still using my Fenix 8 on the side while I test different Amazfit watches and I get to see the performance. Of all the watches I've owned (Huawei, Samsung, OnePlus, Apple, etc), Garmin has been the most reliable, when it came to pacing, at least with the recent watches.

Stopping the alarm in the morning should stop sleep tracking
is that your first garmin? it may need still time to calibrate to you. I don't have that issue with my fenix 8 and cirqa.
