Fenix 8 Pro is useless...

What brought people to Garmin? Battery life, MIP screen (for some), history of updating software for a long period and no monthly subscription. Prices were just a bit more expensive than an apple watch. Fenix 7 pro was the last great watch from Garmin. Hopefully mine will keep working for many years

Fenix 8 so slow

Normal behavior for Fenix 8. This is the way the processor of F8 works, the trade-off between speed and energy consumption. Garmin could use more powerful processor in future models, the watch will perform any actions quicker but you will ask then "why the battery lasts only 3 days"?

Bon finalement

Garmin Fenix 8 Pro MicroLED next to my old 6 Pro Solar

I’m kind of in the same camp. I’m not seeing the value in the micro led. It was supposed to bring better battery life as some sort of middle ground between amoled and MIP. according to Garmin’s website the display has the same PPI as well so you’re not even getting a higher resolution screen, it’s j

Should I wait for Garmin Fenix 9 or just go for Fenix 8 pro

I've noticed that the newer watches have bugs until yet newer watches get released. For example my FR970, after being full of bugs for a full year, is finally acting right, following its last update, just as "Forerunner 975" is trending. (It was sitting in a drawer, I've been using my Fenix 7S Pro S

Ultra 3 v Fenix 8

I’ve had both. They’re just different and it all depends on your lifestyle. I went from a fenix 7x to an AWU3 then bought the Fenix 8 out of fomo on a deal…just returned the Fenix 8. Genuinely think the 7 line has everything the 8 does without the speaker which is really clunky and not useful at all

Apple S7 to Garmin

I tried the Enduro 3, it works, and is the best Fenix 8 line model imho. Though I didn't like the reflections on the screen. It is useable, but I expected a much clearer display (an issue since Fenix 7). Battery is great, it feels light, and size is big but didn't feel big for me. Instinct 3 Solar T

Women of this sub—which size? Fenix 8

Thanks for posting, I have exactly the same dilemma. However, it’s worth noting it’s not just a case of how many days between the battery needing to be charged, it’s the overall impact of the number of charges over time. My previous Garmin watch had a battery fail after 3 years. When I asked AI abou

Triathlon Watches

Having not tried anything else I bought a Garmin Fenix 8. (HSA money is free right?) And I’m very happy with the battery life, GPS, and build quality, but god does their touch interface suck. It’s like 2010 software. I’m tempted to return it and get something else. Anyone else have beef with Garmin’
