Buy fenix 8 or wait for fenix 9
I’m waiting, the 8 processor is so slow and dated. The screen takes longer to turn on than my Epix gen 2 (non pro) does. IMO it’s half baked for what they cost these days. That being said, if I needed a new Garmin right now I would still buy it lol.

Favorite bike computer?
Garmin Edge 1050. Expensive but the larger screen is much easier for navigating. 1040 can probably still be found for a bit less. If you just want to collect data though it’s not really needed. I used mine for navigating in new areas but most of my rides are in areas I know well. So it’s overkill. B

Is there anyone who is satisfied with Hume band 2.0?
Yeah, it's ok. Hume 2 is good for what it is. Sleep tracking is prety acurate, step counting might be a little over zelous, but it's mostly ok. I had a problem with the first one they sent me, so they sent me a new one. No arguments, and that one works fine. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I keep

Fenix 8 amoled vs solar! Trade?
I had Apple Watch Ultra 1&3 and Epix Pro Gen 2. Nothing against their brilliant Amoled screens but my Fenix 8 Solar Sapphire is the one. Now I have AOD without sacrificing battery life and not afraid to go under the sun. My watch loves the sun as opposed to the Amoled screen ones that gets hot as it

Back to MIP! Fenix 8 Solar
My first Garmin was an Epix Pro gen 2 but disliked how much battery it chewed keeping AOD turned on so I could conveniently see the time. I sold it to a buddy and bought an Enduro 3. Love the MIP and the battery life!!

Instinct 3 Amoled or MIP Solar
Listen, the AMOLED is beautiful. But there's something about the MIP display in the Solar that I just absolutely love. I have an Epix Gen 2 in addition to my Instinct Solar that I thought I would rotate back and forth as my needs would change that day/week. The Epix is literally collecting dust. I k

Pebble Time 2 Touchscreen
Not sure what Garmin you had, but my Epix Gen 2, Fenix 8, and Forerunner 970 all have the ability to completely turn off the touchscreen. But they're all the 5-button models, so you can exclusively use the buttons to navigate the watch. IIRC, the watches with less than 5 buttons don't have the optio

How are these not dominating the market?
I have tried 10+ watches and settled on this one. It is in some important ways better than $1300 Garmin Fenix 8 Sapphire - brighter screen for example and lower weight. It is not dominating the market because 1) people are stupid and need few years to grasp the situation 2) Amazfit is greedy and wil
