You can’t convince me Garmin is better than Apple
Ha! I've been an Apple Watch user since they came out. I had some FOMO with my ultrarunner husband and daughter with their Garmins, so I got exactly that Epix Pro Gen 2. It lasted maybe 3 hours, and I hated it so much I returned it right away. I barely got through setting it up and knew it wasn't fo

My first smartwatch. Fenix 8 it is. Hoping it will not disappoint
It will disappoint you with heart rate during any gym, weight, machine training. May be good for runners but for anything like training body spikes and drops on a heart rate are crazy... Unfortunately. I bought epix pro gen 2 2 years ago, used to love design, features etc but heart rate tracking dur

Garmin Enduro 3 battery life
Ye, I guess that's more what I'd want and expect. It's pretty rare but for the occasional multi day race it would be nice to keep the charging to a minimum. I've currently got the Epix Gen 2 and it probably does about 22-24hrs in GPS realistically

Is there anyone who is satisfied with Hume band 2.0?
Yeah, it's ok. Hume 2 is good for what it is. Sleep tracking is prety acurate, step counting might be a little over zelous, but it's mostly ok. I had a problem with the first one they sent me, so they sent me a new one. No arguments, and that one works fine. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I keep

Fenix 8 amoled vs solar! Trade?
I had Apple Watch Ultra 1&3 and Epix Pro Gen 2. Nothing against their brilliant Amoled screens but my Fenix 8 Solar Sapphire is the one. Now I have AOD without sacrificing battery life and not afraid to go under the sun. My watch loves the sun as opposed to the Amoled screen ones that gets hot as it

Back to MIP! Fenix 8 Solar
My first Garmin was an Epix Pro gen 2 but disliked how much battery it chewed keeping AOD turned on so I could conveniently see the time. I sold it to a buddy and bought an Enduro 3. Love the MIP and the battery life!!

AWU3 battery is crazy
I call BS on you claiming the epix gen 2 can last 30-40 days with aod? It can’t even do that with aod off.

Is buying a Garmin GPSMAP actually worth it?
I had an epix 2 and loved it for hikes but... the first one had a faulty screen, then the replacement died the instant I went into water. The refund process was so awful that I just gave up and haven't had one since. Non of this should put you off though, this was all to do with buying off amazon. W
