Garmin has decades and decades of maturity when it comes to watches for training. I started my journey with the Forerunner 920xt and I've been on the Forerunner 745 for the last several years. I've put both of them through the ringer whether with trail running, swimming, cycling. I do also have the

You are moving from smart watch to an fitness watch. I recently moved from GW6 to Garmin Enduro 3 and I love it. I get so much more about my fitness in detail, I also like how I can check my data on the PC browser. My watch lasts under a month without charge but that is probably because I got sick l

Hah, yeah every sportwatch company has pros and cons, so there is no "correct" answer :) But if I can have my two cents here. First of all I have used all of them, except Coros. I have had sportwatches since 2002, and I worked with polar and suunto in the past. But, I went from polar grit x pro -> s

Q: Why do you want to replace your 7X Solar? If you want more battery, I'd go Enduro 3. I'm thinking of the Fenix 8, but it looks like the battery is marginally better, if research reddit, and the Garmin forums which is too bad. No one here know when a successor is coming...probably not till at leas

Well the Enduro3 with discount costs $749, same as Garmin Fenix 8 Amoled (black version) after discount. It boils down to mainly the battery feature, which Enduro3 nails it. And if you want it at more discount, use PayPal pay later option which gives 20% off, brings the price closer to $600. Both de

Very dependent on the type of light you’re getting. I had a fully charged Garmin Enduro3 and it never dropped below 30% on a 6 day Glacier hiking trip where it rained two out of the six days.

Isn't Enduro3 cheaper than f8? That'd be my preference. I had my F7PRO SS since before Enduro3, but if I were to change, it'd be for e3. I'm actually considering moving away from garmin, I don't need all the features, basic health and topo maps/navigation would be ideal for me as that's what I mainl

I already published quite a bit about the Garmin Instinct 3 Solar, and its sister watch, the Instinct 3 AMOLED. They should have been priced around $299.00 since they had the old sensor. The HR/SP02 (green & red light) sensor of a smartwatch these days is just as important as the screen and software

I have had both the instinct 50 tactical and the crossover AMOLED. They are just totally different. The I3 is the nicest MIP I’ve ever owned on any brand. Better than Casio. Unless the room is completely dark, you can see the face without backlight. Monochrome and all that but throw back cool. And…t
