I recommend the GameSir Tarantula Pro if you like the shape of a PS controller but dislike how fast their batteries dies, too

offtopic: The button stickers for the PlayStation are pretty curious. I wish they had the same functionality as the GameSir Tarantula Pro, which lets you switch between Xbox and Nintendo button layouts visually

I switched to a GameSir Tarantula Pro recently after my 8bitdo pro 3 died (broken trigger, which is a big hazard in this game). Right now you can get the GameSir tarantula pro at a pretty good discount on Amazon. Just make sure you get the asurion protection (i would recommend you get protection no matter what controller you get). Also 8bitdo pro 3 is pretty good. I have both. Prefer the tarantula.

Correct. Genuine Xbox controllers don't have gyro. My recommended alternative is a GameSir Tarantula Pro but you'll still need an application to leverage either the controller or the device gyro. Microsoft has no native support for any of them yet.

PS4 controller is great, whether or not you get drift is kind of a crapshoot. I had a ps4 controller that lasted around a year before it got drift. I recently tested the 8bitdo Pro 3. On Andorid, u can only map the extra buttons to the normal gamepad buttons (abxy L1&2 R1&2 D-Pad etc). The same problem with the GameSir Tarantula Pro

Well if Xbox Layout is you favorite I see no issue with (most controllers with xbox layout all feel the same to me). I have multiple Dualshock 4 controllers because I love the way these feel and then I jumped on 2 GameSir Tarantula Pro controllers because the Symmetrical analog sticks.
