Fixed! The GameSir Nova Lite dongles just aren't up to the task. Replaced with 8bitdo Ultimate Wireless 2C and it's amazing. Spend a bit more and get these controllers.

It still won't work even downloading the app. It is not showing up as allowing me to pair to Bluetooth at all on Windows 11. It is the GameSir Lite Nova Lite Multi-Platform Wireless Gaming Controller.

Definitely not Xbox controllers. They have a known issue with the face buttons all the way from Xbox one controllers to the elite controllers.
