yep tried pressing another direction button, and that las direction button will take over the constant input. i.e. i press down and it'll keep registering down input held. press up, it'll register up input held. this only hapens with GameSir G7 Pro, connected with bluetooth.

This is a known quality control problem with triggers on the GameSir G7 Pro (no 'SE' in the name). As it's only two months old, just return it and claim a replacement or refund under warranty.
