What controller should I get for PC?
First party options are sort of objectively bad value at this point and could never recommend them unless you were playing a lot of a non-switch first party platform as well. Reality is they all use resistive sticks and are subject to drift, typically lack additional buttons or features/remapping ou

Considering getting a controller to use with Steam games. What are the pros and cons of the various types?
GameSir exceeded my all expectations. I definitely suggested it to a few friends and they loved it as well. We compared with a friend’s 8bitdo one (dont remember the model but it was a mid range hall effect one) which was the one i was going to buy and it is much better. My personal suggestion is de

Gamesir vs 8bitdo ultimate 2c? Opinions
I have both gamesir nova 2 lite and 8bitdo u2c, some guy mentioned that people might be bias in this sub here, I mean sure but I will stay as unbiased as possible as I owned both to give out my opinion. In short, nova 2 lite wins, don't even bother thinking of getting a 8bitdo u2c. The biggest downs

Considering getting a controller to use with Steam games. What are the pros and cons of the various types?
PS5 and the Xbox first party controllers are still made with sticks that can drift and membrane buttons. pretty bare bone feature sets with a high price tag. My vote goes to the Gamesir Cyclone 2 ($50), comes with a dock, has magnetic sticks and triggers (no stick drift), mechanical face buttons, tr

Difference between the ultimate 2 and ultimate 2c?
Please excuse the mobile formatting. Ultimate 2 is the premium offering, -better sticks (TMR/hall effect), -Gyro, (works with switch, when using beta firmware) -back paddles. -lockable triggers, which turns them into 'mouse' clicks -Rgb light ring -type-C 2.4ghz receiver, -charging dock, which also

Steam Controller Priced at $149 CAD
Bought a Gamesir cyclone 2 with tmr sticks for $38 CAD and the thing is still rock solid. The asking price for the Steam controller is NOT worth it.

This is a reminder to check your stick
Have had a Gamesir Cyclone 2 with TMR sticks for over two years now. I’m yet to have an issue with this controller. I decided to try out Gamesir after getting 3 Xbox controllers with insane stick drift out the box. Never looked back. They do PS shape controllers I’ve just always preferred the Xbox sh

Good controllers with linux support
I use Gamesir Cyclone 2 on Arch without installing anything, but the official app isn't avaliable for Linux (if I'm not wrong). I played a Game from Epic using Lutris and works fine, sometimes it's detected as a PlayStation controller (usually) and a phew times as Xbox controller. Has TMR joystick,

Elite series 2 controller
Xbox, Playstaion, and Nintendo are still using potentiometer based joysticks in even their most expensive controllers which as we all know will drift. TRM, and Hall Effect sticks will never drift because their magnet based. There are a few 3rd party brands putting out very good controllers for even
