To espresso or not to espresso - [<$1000]
I recommend a superautomatic, many in your price range. Keep it filled with beans and water, a couple of button presses to get your drinks. I like my Gaggia Magenta Prestige. Many like the De'Longhi and Philips ones too. You can get one-touch espresso, Americanos, cappuccinos, flat whites, etc. The

First superautomatic, need advice
The Philips 4300 or 4400 might be worth the extra over the 3300. Note that Philips, Gaggia, Saeco mostly have the same internals, and vary in design, UI, # of drink options incl. cold drinks. I can recommend the Gaggia Magenta Prestige (which I own now), if it's in your price range. I upgraded from

If I'm mainly going to be drinking coffee with milk and sugar, is it really worth buying a more expensive machine?
Basic superautos under $1k make fine milk drinks. I'd also check out the Gaggia Magenta Prestige, which works great for them. (For perspective, I also have a De'Longhi semiautomatic and a Flair manual machine.)

Has anyone tried Terra Kaffe Demi?
Yes, it definitely cooled my heels. I'm considering the deLonghi Dinamica, although it's a little bigger than I wanted. I also considered the Gaggia Magenta Prestige, still undecided, although a lot of appeal. Last time I was looking I ruled out Kitchenaid just based on what I could find, not actual

Best Auto machine if you only care about Cappuccino and Flat Whites
You want value in milk drinks - we are loving our gaggia magenta prestige. Check out its milk system. It order the milk and coffee correctly per drink type. It also spits out different kinds of foam. Works for us and we use it heavily.

Best Auto machine if you only care about Cappuccino and Flat Whites
I'm loving my Gaggia Magenta Prestige, after 7 years with their Anima Prestige. Flat whites are also my go-to.

Preventing Extra Water in Gaggia Magenta Prestige Espresso Drinks, Especially Milk Drinks?
I just received the Magenta Prestige today. I bought it for quick milk drinks in the morning. At this price point, to be honest, I’m very pleased. The first cappuccino after 6 “throw-away” shots was impressively good. I still like using my semi auto for espresso and milk drinks on the weekend, when

Help with superauto recommendations for my wife and I
This may not be a common rec, but I love my Gaggia Magenta Prestige. There's a large variety of distinct drinks, from espressos and cappuccinos to flat whites, cafe au laits, Americanos, and Cortados. It makes syrupy 25ml ristrettos too. The milk froth is good. The user menus and adjustments are eas

Advice on First Machine
De'Longhis are popular here. I'll also mention that I really like my Gaggia Magenta Prestige. I upgraded to it after using my Gaggia Anima Prestige for 7 years, no real issues with it. The Magenta has lots of drink options, nice interface, and it just works and makes tasty drinks. My faves are the c

Phillips 4300, 3300, Gaggia Prestige’s, or DeLonghi EVO which would you choose? Something with a carafe. $1000
I can't make direct comparisons with my limited experience, but I think the Gaggia Magenta Prestige is a solid option. $650 on Amazon. I decided to upgrade my Anima Prestige after 7 years. (Selling the Anima to a friend, cheap.) It has moderate simple maintenance, mostly emptying the drip tray and p
