Struggling with focus XT5

I use an XT4 but I always shoot on S unless I need the focus point to track my subject, then I use C continuous. Check out Pal2Tec on you tube. Find his section on fujifilm focus tips/help. He can explain all of the settings far better than I. Good luck, I’m sure it’s not the XT5 my shots are fine o

First Time Fuji buyer

Congrats, and I hope you enjoy your X-T4 as much as I've enjoyed mine. Here's some resources you may find helpful. Pal2Tech on YouTube is everything Fujifilm. Fujifilm X-T4 vs Nikon Zf: Has Anyone Made the Switch?

I went from a Fuji X-T4 to a X-S10 (which I still have) to a Nikon Zf. The main things that I originally liked about Fujifilm were the recipes and colors out of the camera, plus the small f/2 lenses. The thing that struck me when I tried an Zf with the 24-120mm f/4 was how much fun it was to use. Ni

When did you decide to make the jump to better gear? How did you afford it?

I bought a better camera back in 2019. I upgraded from a Nikon D5600 to a Fujifilm XT4. One of my reasons was for better video and teh XT4 was highly recommended at the time as a great hybrid camera. There was all the other regular reason too like autofocus and dynamic range too. If you are upgradin

Anyone here switch from Nikon to Fuji?

I have done Nikon DSLR (D60, then D700) -> Fuji Mirrorless (X-T1, then X-T2 + X-H1) -> Nikon Mirrorless with a Fuji side camera (Z6 + X-Pro2) and honestly, the Fujifilm system is great an all, but I feel like there are a couple downsides. The first one for me is the lenses. ANd I know how it sounds

What fujifilm camera should I get?

If you don't like maintenance x100vi is the one you need. If you want to take pictures while at the same time enjoying different lenses... XM5 (and less on budget) And you go for the XT50 if you want to spend more money and keep your arrays of lenses. If you want to take videos XT4... To be honest t

Picked up an X-PRO 2 two weeks ago—and now I’m torn

I just bought an X-T4. Prior to that my kit was X-Pro2, XF 16-80mm f/4, XF56mm f/1.2, Voigtlander 18mm f/2.8 color skopar, and Fujifilm X-M adapter with Voigtlander 35mm f/1.4 Nokton. I had been doing some pseudo professional work for favors to friends and family that led me to feel the weak points

Should I consider buying a camera?

I would say yes. I'm also from Slovenia and I like to shoot nature, landscape and wild animals. I bought Fujifilm X-T4 with kit lens for around 2000€, but that was 4 years ago, so the prices may be different now. Later I bought 70-300mm lens, but then a year later replaced it with 150-600mm one. I c

Small prime lens to buy ??(for mostly street)

In my experience, the 23mm f/1.4 or 23mm f/2 will suit your requested use case as the focal length will allow you to continue to shoot concerts, while also being an excellent lens for street, portrait, or just candid snap shots of the family. The f/1.4 is the more professional option, with better su
