I need a decent travel camera..?
If you already shoot analog, I recently added a Fujifilm XT3 to my collection. It’s small and sturdy, with similar buttons and dials to my Nikon fe2. I have a third party 27mm pancake lens and a Fuji 23mm lens and love it. You can also set film recipes to replicate film looks in-camera, very satisfy

Anyone here switch from Nikon to Fuji?
I have done Nikon DSLR (D60, then D700) -> Fuji Mirrorless (X-T1, then X-T2 + X-H1) -> Nikon Mirrorless with a Fuji side camera (Z6 + X-Pro2) and honestly, the Fujifilm system is great an all, but I feel like there are a couple downsides. The first one for me is the lenses. ANd I know how it sounds

Shot a documentary on a mirrorless Fuji XH2, & it blew my mind 🤯
Fujifilm is extremely underrated for video. I've been saying that since the xt3 and I'm still saying that now, with the h2s. Great colors, great battery, flog is good, codecs are flexible as f, internal prores is awesome, the camera is fast, compact, intuitive and the price is spot on. The main prob

Hiking/Backpacking Camera Advice?
You're me like 7 months ago lol, choosing a camera for backpacking can feel like a bit much when the price is sohigh. Here’s what worked my end: Consider weight and size: Both the Fujifilm XT3 and Olympus EM-5 Mark III are great options. The Olympus is lighter, which is a plus for long hikes. Weathe

Panning shot of auto on the roads of Delhi | Fujifilm XH2S with XF18-55/F2.8-4 lens
It is actually my third camera and second fujifilm camera. I shifted to XH2S from XT3 in 2024. I haven't got around to use XH2S as much as I would have liked as I got occupied with my office work. It feels like an upgrade although I do miss the size and form factor of XT3. Compared to XT series, it

Buying non-pro camera in Japan
I use to bring cameras while traveling, and have owned nice cameras for a long time. I now use a Fujifilm XT3 and while it's an awesome camera, I now only use my phone while traveling. I can get really nice pictures without thinking, and most of the time I care about these photos in two ways: Nostal

Sony Fanboy Looking at Fuji
I shoot both Sony and fujifilm. If you're looking for an edc "point and shoot" that would be one of the fixed lens versions. The x-t3 etc is more of a 'regular' size and use camera. I shoot the x-t5 with the new 16-50 2.8 - 4.8 and several other lenses and it's great (I think someone else commented

Time to rethink my gear.. what lenses to get, if any, and what to purge..
For a wonderful alternative to the lenses already recommended by others, I highly recommend purchasing the Fujinon XF 30mm f/2.8 Macro Lens. I am 69 years old and have been taking photographs seriously since I was a teenager. And I believe this is one of the best, most versatile lenses I have ever o

xt3 in 2026?
The X-T3 is still great in 2026. It‘s just not the smallest among Fujifilm cameras. So if you want to have a truly small setup and unless you need the dual card slots and weather sealing (both of which the X-T3 offers), I would look at an X-T30iii (or X-T30ii, if you want to save some money), an X-M

Official Question Thread! Ask /r/photography anything you want to know! February 27, 2026
My sister’s graduating and she wants a camera. Something compact that she can take on trips or have in her bag with ease. I’m looking at the Ricoh GR III. Do you have any other suggestions? I also shoot w fujifilm XT3 for fun and it’s nice but probably too bulky.
