No, it's not worth returning for a couple more jpg profiles (that's what the film simulations are). There are plenty enough of them on X-T3, and should they prove insufficient, you can avail yourself to any of the massive number of community-made film recipes (google Fujifilm recipes for more info).

Most cameras will have a b&w jpeg setting. You might be able to tweak some settings like the tone curve to get deeper blacks in the camera. But shoot jpeg + raw and edit the pictures to your liking will be the best option. Or i can just say what you want to hear, get a Fujifilm xt2 , xt20, xt3 or xt
