I think cameras from mid 2015s are already great. Of course depending on what you shoot. I myself have xt20 that had problems and I fixed it on my own and I refuse to upgrade because it is so fun to shoot with this form factor. For me xt20 is amazing. Used to have xpro2 but I like the xt20 features

Im normally a Sony user but the Fujifilm Film Simulations lured me in I grabbed a CHEAP XT10, a few generations older than your XT3 and findthe Autofocus works fine. I do not use Continuous , I use Single, I am only shooting photos with it no video. I have been shooting photos and āfilmsā since 1970

Your post is quite weird ngl. Comparing the XT5 with x100 or a canon PowerShot is definitely a choice lol You want to get pro, #1 first thing to do is understand the basics.
