Ricoh GRIV: Right for Me?

Looking at your selection of photos I assume you prefer tighter focal lengths. Maybe instead of gr4 look into gr3x. Other option but not as compact is fujifilm cameras, x-t50 and x-e5 are small and you can put any lens on them or you can check out x100vi for a compact with built in lens. Also recent

Selling the A7CII for a Fuji ie X-E5. Anyone else made a similar jump?

I made a similar switch from a7iii with 35mm GM to x100vi, but i didn’t like it because i missed that full-frame crispness. So, i sold the x100vi and switched to lumix S9 to get back to full frame but with customizable LUTs that are similar to fuji. But after using it for a few months, i realized th

Macro photography with phone?

My dream device is a Fujifilm XE5 with an android phone for a screen. I'd just slap a pancake on it and carry it around in my pocket but I'd always have an APS-C in my pocket.

Selling the A7CII for a Fuji ie X-E5. Anyone else made a similar jump?

I have an A7 III, two A7C II’s and five different E-mount lenses. I’ve been shooting Sony for 8+ years. I always thought Sony’s colour science was, while accurate, very boring and clinical. All the photos I got from my Sony require post-processing to look more “aesthetic,” for the lack of better wor

ITAP of a wild river

I might even stay Fuji the one thing that gave me hope was the XE5 built quality... For better XT6 and XPro build quality. Haven't decided. But the one main thing holding me back is the lens sizes and weight. Personally I thought about a manual Thypoch... Seems a perfect fit in haptics and build qua

Thinnest mirrorless option with best thin lenses?

Smallest full frame is the Lumix S9 and a pancake lens. Fujifilm X-E5 with the 23mm f2.8 is pretty slim. So is the X100VI, but non-removable lens. A7Cii is good, but slightly bigger than other options, plus the EVF sucks.

Removing viewfinder from LX100 i/ii?

LX100 is a great camera, but it is still costly secondhand. For not much more, you can get yourself a new Fujifilm XM-5. Smaller than X-E5, it can be configured with a pancake lens or a smaller zoom.

Recommended camera for baker and rainier

Agree on the wide angle of view of main phone cameras. Some phones do have an additional camera with a narrower angle of view, but its image quality is usually so poor that the result is not much better than cropping the main camera images. but if I wanted to save weight I'd get a small fixed lens l

Fuji XE5 change lenses?

Hey hello congratulations on your purchase that is an amazing camera For everyday carries "pancake" lenses are the best Fuji has the 23mm f2.8 wr but it's quite expensive, oddly enough it usually ships with the xe5. Your strategy is solid I'm only concern about the size of the lenses that you choose

Is Fuji the answer?

I bought the X-E5 with the 23mm ƒ2.8 lens! I have a long trip coming and I really wanted something very compact because last time I took my Sony gear to a trip, it hated lugging it around all day. With the X-E5, I was able to get a small sling and fit the camera, a light sweater and 1L of water in i
