Learning photography for 1st time: Fujifilm X100VI or better another camera?
I'd actually recommend against the X100VI as your first camera, even though it's hugely popular. The X100VI's 23mm f/2 (35mm equivalent) is a great focal length, but as a beginner, you need to discover what YOU like shooting and what focal lengths work for your style. Being locked into one lens mean

XE5 or XT30 III???
I did the same cross shopping recently when deciding my first Fujifilm camera. Chose the x-e5 for more MP sensor and IBIS vs the XT30 III. The Xt-50 was also on the list but the X-E5 aesthetics won out

Selling the A7CII for a Fuji ie X-E5. Anyone else made a similar jump?
I have an A7 III, two A7C II’s and five different E-mount lenses. I’ve been shooting Sony for 8+ years. I always thought Sony’s colour science was, while accurate, very boring and clinical. All the photos I got from my Sony require post-processing to look more “aesthetic,” for the lack of better wor

How did you get into Fujifilm? And what's your current situation?
Bought a used Sony RX10-III. Great zoom, amazing autofocus. But it wasn’t an EDC camera, it was too bulky. Got an X100S as an EDC and fell in love with the simplicity and the limited options posed by a fixed lens and poor autofocus. It made me stop and think about composition. I love the colours in

About a month ago I sold my E-M10 and almost immediately regretted it so I bought it again.
For sure! I also got a Fujifilm x-e5 last year and really liked it, but quickly realised I didn't need all of that so downgraded to an xt-30 ii. I'm seeing a pattern here haha

Do I really need the X100VI? - What camera to get?
Have you considered the Fujifilm X-E5? With the XF 23mm f/2.8 it’s very close to an interchangeable lens X100VI. I bought one in January and am enjoying a great deal. It sits at the top end of your budget but it seems like it fits with your wants/needs. I can’t speak to any of the other options, as

Camera Dilemma
Fujifilm has too many options... I got an XT30iii for the EVF and how great it looks (esp with TTartisan manual focus 25mm f2 lens). Would love an XE5 as well but I won't buy two cameras that do the same thing.

Is Fuji the answer?
I bought the X-E5 with the 23mm ƒ2.8 lens! I have a long trip coming and I really wanted something very compact because last time I took my Sony gear to a trip, it hated lugging it around all day. With the X-E5, I was able to get a small sling and fit the camera, a light sweater and 1L of water in i

One for the head, one for the heart. A dream duo! [Z8 & ZF]
With the commonalty of battery, lens, processor, IQ, yet juxtaposition of shooting experience, I really can't think of a better two-party combo from another manufacturer, part from maybe a Fujifilm X-H2 and an X-E5?

First 2 months with my first camera - Looking for feedback :)
Thank you! I also felt quite overwhelmed when deciding what camera to buy, there are so many options out there in so many styles. I asked 2 friends who are photographers, one likes Sony, one likes Fujifilm, I borrowed a Sony A6700 and a Fujifilm X-E5. Enjoyed both, my Sony friend was impressed with
