gfx 100 and 55 1.7

How much does a fujifilm GFX 100 and 55 1.7 go for? Probably something in reasonably priced car range. All of that for photos I could take with my 21 year old DSLR and 30 year old lens and maybe even not overexpose them...

Why don’t we have a true pocket-size full-frame digital point-and-shoot?

I'm tempted to buy the Fujifilm Gfx 100 rf... But the price is holding me back for f4 and no ibis

Z8 and Lenses / moved from GFX

I moved from GFX as well. Files were great but even the GFX 100 II the autofocus wasn’t great. The other thing that bugged me was the 200mb raw file size. Constantly filling up cards and hard drives. Didn’t mind the lens selection but hated the native lens prices. $2.3k for a 55/1.7 is ridiculous. I

Bad idea: 80mm in perf condition is going for $1150 on fredmiranda rn I know because I was in talks buying it but backed out to get the 55mm 100-200 is a sick lens but issues with the front element makes people have trepidation to buy it -50mm goes for $600 45mm is a $850 lens People that shoot wide

Official Gear Purchasing and Troubleshooting Question Thread! Ask /r/photography anything you want to know! January 23, 2026

Hi all, I’m an architect and I’m looking to side step in to architectural photography (largely interiors I would think, not so much sky scrapers) but I want to set out with the best kit that’s going to give me what I need without being under kill or over kill! I love the medium format aesthetic, but

Is a Fuji GFX 100s II a good camera for a novice?

If you’re worried about future proofing then stay away from the GFX 100s II, its been out for over a year so will be replaced soon. The sensible thing to do is buy the X-T30 III as it’s the newest Fujifilm camera, it’s only a small body though to I’d suggested pairing it with the biggest lenses poss

How does 🅱️uji🅱️film get away with repacking the same camera all over again but Hasselblad does not?

Sure, the price to play ball is high with Hasselblad, but the bodies are comparable in price to other flagship cameras. Same price as the R1, cheaper than A1, cheaper than GFX 100 II, same as the SL3. The Z9 is clearly less expensive. FF and MF markets have clearly converged to a large degree and it

Here it is, your reminder that megapixels on their own mean almost nothing

I think somebody just got themselves a GFX 100, caught remorse because they aren’t making any better pictures, and just had to do a shootout as a Hail Mary for views.
