Once you solve hotspots, then how soft all mixed spectrum images look will start to drive you crazy. Normal lenses are not designed to focus IR and visible at the same point, so you get chromatic aberration that is an issue even in visible but on steroids adding a huge section of the spectrum to the

I have both, for quick candid things where I need to capture things at a moments notice, I choose the X100VI. For travel, every day/day to day slow moments where I'm not rushing to grab the camera, it's the GFX100RF. I've never been unhappy with the lack of IBIS or F4 lens, but that's because I shoo

I was shooting full frame. Canons for almost 10 years, switch to Sony for 5-6 years and now I am using Phase One IQ3 100mp and Fuji GFX 100 II. The reason I switched to Phase One was to slow the pace a lil bit and to precise more my shots. I do mostly commercial photography for campaigns and I shoot

Why would someone with more than 3 brain cells get this instead of of the cheaper 100mp medium format Fuji GFX 100 RF ? 1 extra stop (MF f/4 vs. FF f/2) 30% lighter / a bit smaller. The GFX100RF also has advantages, but there's a market that the RX1R III fits better.

I have used a GFX 100 II for the last two years, basically around when it came out. I shoot architecture and design. The high resolution is great for cropping, which I do a lot of especially on prime lenses. I can do HEAVY crops without worrying. The dynamic range is incredible, like seriously, and

Thank you for your response and the accompanying article. From my experience, testing (and judging by the tone and rhetoric in said article) I am somewhat skeptical that it is as bad as presented. He quotes 22.4 megapixels but compared to my Fujifilm cameras around that resolution, as well as others

The GFX 50r is an amazing camera. Depending on your XE model, you may find the menus and some functions more reflective of early Fuji and not current Fuji. That said, it’s a medium format camera which requires a little different thinking (like crop factor etc) than an apsc camera. It does take some

Saw this video yesterday and I guess I was “influenced…” i really want a small body with an evf I can put some manual voigt type lenses on. This seems like a great option. Then of course maybe an x-pro 3 would suit me better? Better evf? I don’t care about auto focus. And the only Fuji I ever used w

I wouldn't necessarily think of a GFX as an upgrade. It's more expensive and specialised kit, but also not for all types of photography. Particularly for those who like to do street photography, dealing with GFX autofocus is a whole art with itself. I have a GFX 100 RF, and there are definitely scen
