Fwiw the X2D is kind of a specialised tool, I think the fact that you’re forced to use the ginormous and expensive 35-100 just for AF-C is a symptom of that. Don’t get me wrong I also use a camera that’s far too big (GFX 100 with a 45-100), but over the years I’ve come to think that while the 100mp

I moved from GFX as well. Files were great but even the GFX 100 II the autofocus wasn’t great. The other thing that bugged me was the 200mb raw file size. Constantly filling up cards and hard drives. Didn’t mind the lens selection but hated the native lens prices. $2.3k for a 55/1.7 is ridiculous. I

funny I've just been thinking about this today. I wondered whether you're using a tripod, using a surface to study the camera, or whether hand holding. are you using a mechanical shutter or the electronic shutter? the more resolution that the sensor has, the more sensitive it is to shake. for compar

Besides this you can not compare a Leica Q3 with any Fuji out there in terms of build quality - maybe the GFX 100, but all the others … no freakin way. And yes, the dynamic range is noticeably higher. The sharpness is noticeably higher, the iso performance is noticeably higher. I compared the Q3 and

Hi all, I’m an architect and I’m looking to side step in to architectural photography (largely interiors I would think, not so much sky scrapers) but I want to set out with the best kit that’s going to give me what I need without being under kill or over kill! I love the medium format aesthetic, but

Whatever mate, nobody knows at this time apart from Fujifilm themselves, my point is most people believe that new gear will make them good/better photographers. Where they don't even know how to use the one they've got. OP bought a great camera at the discounted price, how is that mistake?Unless the

Just tried out the supposed top of the line EVF (GFX 100 II) and the dynamic range in the viewfinder is terrible! I can see so much more detail with my OVF, but was impressed by the 1x magnification size. Wish Canon would have went larger than .76x with the 1DXIII.

I had a GFX 100 with a nearly full kit of lenses. Swapped it out for the X2D2. The image quality is just superior and the IBIS now makes it more advanced.

While this sounds cool, the 1/4000th max shutter speed will be seriously annoying. Less of a problem because the GFX system lacks a ton of really fast lenses… The AF also is not great for my style of more candid/documentary shooting. If someone gave me a GFX 100 II for free I would love it, but it w
