Once you solve hotspots, then how soft all mixed spectrum images look will start to drive you crazy. Normal lenses are not designed to focus IR and visible at the same point, so you get chromatic aberration that is an issue even in visible but on steroids adding a huge section of the spectrum to the

Happy with my GFX 100 II but man I’d be lying if I said I haven’t been eyeing the X2D II for a little bit. Gorgeous camera.

I have both, for quick candid things where I need to capture things at a moments notice, I choose the X100VI. For travel, every day/day to day slow moments where I'm not rushing to grab the camera, it's the GFX100RF. I've never been unhappy with the lack of IBIS or F4 lens, but that's because I shoo

I had the 907x 100c and I swapped it for a GFX 100II, the camera took amazing photos if I gave it enough light and understood its limitations, I just needed more of an SLR and I needed to be able to tether/use capture one. If I hadn't disliked Phocus so much, I might have gone to the X2D II since it

I am on a job now with the X2D2 and it’s ok. I will be buying a GFX 100 mk2. There are a few things I like. Design, menus and the app. Obviously resolution etc is great too. HB colour is nice. 2 things I hate. One silly but annoying and one massive oversight on HB’s side. 1: The neck strap lugs on t

I'm not the OP but maybe this helps as I own both these lenses. The APO reminds me of my Fuji GFX100S II lenses, it's basically as sharp as a Fujifilm GFX medium format lens, it's quite unbelievable. If you like extreme sharpness and pixel peeping, you need that APO :) The close focusing is nice too

Thank you for your response and the accompanying article. From my experience, testing (and judging by the tone and rhetoric in said article) I am somewhat skeptical that it is as bad as presented. He quotes 22.4 megapixels but compared to my Fujifilm cameras around that resolution, as well as others

Medium format cameras with medium format lenses for the medium format look if there is something like that and 4x5 or 8x10 cameras with lenses that cover those plates for the large format look if there is something like that. With “smaller than medium format but bigger than full frame” digital camer

Hi again! How's my GFX100s been? Well, I'll start my answer with a few comments. Firstly, I bought it second-hand 3 years ago, when it was less than one year old. It was in 'very good' condition, according to the camera shop from which I bought it through mail order. It was in that condition, but it

I have a x100v and while I don't have a q3 43, I have a gfx100s with 55mm lens which is a 43mm equivalent focal length. So I can maybe chime in here. I would say get the camera with the focal length you'll want to shoot more of. To me 35mm can be a bit boring, but it does everything pretty decently.
