I just ordered the V3 Blaze from AliExpress. Kinda funny cause I was only shown it from chatting with Gemini about my requirements. Saw it was on sale for $250NZD and jumped on it, managed to cut the tax off it using Coins and coupon code. Arrives later this week so will update here on how I find it

I'll take the Focal Elegia over Bokeh; I love the Bokeh because it's a work of art (and it is quite nice sounding), but it's not the BEST sounding closed back.

not gonna lie, after watching the Superman trailer, I jumped on Youtube, put on my Focal Elegia headphones and listened to Ken Thorne - Superman 2 - Theme [Extended by Gilles Nuytens]. No regrets.

I have a pair of Focal Aria 906s on Focal stands, and a Audiolab 6000CDT CD transport in my main system. I bought the 906s after falling in love with the sound signature of my 2 pairs of Focal headphones (Elear open back, Elegia closed back). They are wonderful. I would have gone for the 936 floorst

The closed back market is ... shallow, compared to the open-back. Nothing I've tried is really going to compete with the Arya for technicalities, but I personally find the Dan Clark Audio Aeon x Closed at $499 more fun to listen to with a lot of my music. Definitely not as resolving, but really quit

I've had a lot of headphone solutions over the years. Amps with headphone jacks, Pods, Helix, Boss Waza Air and for me a Kemper with a good pair of headphones is by far the best. I like that the Kemper toaster can sit up on a side table, sounds amazing and when you want an amp, you can plug it into

If you have Android, download Wavelet... use 3 layers of EQ. The first one in the Bose app put everything +10 🤔( Don't worry, you will sort it out with Wavelet😊) !!!! In the Wavelet put Focal Elegia Auto Eq and combine it with the graphic Equaliser in the picture... You will say, this is the best he

Depends on the use. For me, the HD800s are only good for classical music, which is my main musical use, they're excellent for that and I have them dedicated exclusively for that purpose. For rock I suggest the Edition XS, I sometimes listen to metal or jazz and these are great here. For movies, the

Hifiman Sundara Closed, HE-R9, Audivina (a $1500 headphone). Hifiman cannot make a competent closed back, sadly. Most of the Sonys, Audio Technicas, and AKGs under $1000 (and I haven’t tried any of the ones above that price point). All of the Beyers. Every single one. ALL OF THEM. For me, the closed

like I said, I already have the Edition XS, Focal Elegia and HD800s also; I didn't like the Azurys with its flat soundstage, good imaging though. I prefer the Elegia from the Focals, but has some reverb. The Noire X is the best closed back wired set so far. But I only mentioned these for reference,
