Agreed, focal have over-engineered cheap plastic parts where most of the stress is in the headband and often breaks. https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/vy4p3t/yet_another_broken_focal_elegia_headband_diy/ not my post but also happened to my focal celestee, support wouldn't take it under warranty

I almost purchased the H100 but LDAC or APTX Adaptive is a necessity for me. Not having this on the H100 is the dumbest decision B&O could have made. I will never buy one now. I have the H95 now and it is my favorite headphone of all time. So the H100 would have been my next upgrade. I have owned So

Glad to hear. From what i'm reading from others online the Elegia's seem to be a bit of a "problem child" in that regard, bass is there if EQ'd right, mids are hopeless and the treble region has a weird dip but is fixable. Currently however I have mine on a tube with a bass shelf and a slight treble

Gave my wife the ananda nano a few months ago and she really likes them over her OG ananda’s and focal elegia. I have the Arya Organic and I love them but I used to use the 660s2 for gaming (weight). The sennies are shelved after the Meze 109 pro entered my life. So much more comfortable and they so

Just wanted to say, I bought the SR-80s, didn’t really get it, so gave up on Grados. Had some Focal Elegia but got bored of them. Bought some SR-325x on a whim and was blown away. Just the brightness and the details revealed lots more in my favourite music. Now selling the Focals.

Thanks! In the circle are controls for switching on Subsonic mode (For use with Turntable's), Night mode (adds compression to not resonate outside the room and lowers volume) and a 3db 40hz boost for use with movies. I have the Focal Elegia aswell and agree that they have a very strange frequency re

I have a pair of Focal Elegia's that i'm forcing myself to use more. It needs heavy EQ and even then is almost impossible to get to a point where the vocals dont sound boxy or shouty anymore. For the money the Elegia is probably the worst headphone to buy, especially since you can get a Meze 109 Pro
