Best over-ear headphones in 2026 that people still reach for every single day?
Yeah every now and again but I always end up finding a reason not to. I was pretty much sold on getting a pair of Focal Clear MG's last time I got the itch but the snapping headband issue put me off. I'm currently thinking about the Fiio FT7 & Audeze LCD-X but whether I get around to buying another

My suggestion, and probably many other's suggestion, is go ahead and take that list and go test drive some of those headphones at a HiFi shop. What you are going to find is that a lot of those headphones are not gonna have the sound you are looking for and your top choice might not even be something

HD560 or HD490 pro for gaming?
The HD490 is superb, from what I've used for gaming so far; only had it for a day but it easily beats my Focal Clear MG for that usage.
