125hz+DLI was great when it was released in 2020, but now its mid 2026 and many affordable options offer noticeably better connectivity - IMO Microsoft had to bump the polling rate from 125hz to 250hz and call it a day, it's a meaningful latency improvement and it's what Valve did with Steam Control
