Advice would be lovely

Audio Technica ATLP3X and matching ATSP3X speakers. Plug and play, and the next logical step in your journey. Another option would be a Fluance package with powered speakers - the RT82 and Ai41. Then get a cleaning kit for records and your stylus. Audio Technica makes a great one, model AT6028.
