I canceled my Creator 5 Pro, and honestly you should too.
I get all that, I really do. A lot of people in 3D printing are competent enough to print a purge bin and empty it regularly. But it is not the user’s job to fix safety issues on a 3D printer. It’s not the user’s job to fix any issue on a 3D printer anymore. That era ended when the Ender 3 stopped b

Well my creator 5 lasted almost a week.
I still have my creator 5 pro I got through the preorder with only 15 minutes of print time. I’m paranoid about it now because I can’t just return it like this creator 5 from Amazon. I’ve gotten 2 email responses on this one and neither one has addressed that little broken pin. Just that they would

Maybe read the date, this post was made before the update that moved the purge location! All that said, I am still not buying a Flashforge again, its clear they never tested the Creator 5 Pro. They seen the Creator 5 was working great, slapped an enclosure and heater on it then sent it out the door

Creator 5 Official Poop Bin
This launch has been a complete joke. I love my AD5X. It was well worth the $215 I paid for it. But this really makes me lose faith in FlashForge as a whole. If it wasn't for this I would have almost certainly picked up a Creator 5 Pro, but if a company can release a product with such an obvious bad

Thinking of ordering
I am sure there will be something like a black friday sale. Other than that, the flashforge creator 5 (pro) could be worth a shot. Though they are less proven and more closed of a System than the snapmaker U1

What printer should I plan for next?
I have the SnapMaker U1, FlashForge Creator 5 Pro, Centauri Carbon (canvas unit on order), and a Centauri Carbon 2. In my opinion the CC2 is worth the upgrade. Not just the Canvas unit, but some other quality of life upgrades. Slightly bigger and nicer touch screen, case mounted large part cooling f

Help me choose my first 3D printer: P2S vs X2D (Engineering use)
I don't own either the X2D or the Creator 5 Pro (though I plan to buy an X2D to pair with my Snapmaker U1), but both the Bambu and Flashforge have closed firmware and ecosystems. Flashforge is rumored to have a jailbreak, but they're generally similar. In my opinion, the X2D will be more reliable.
