The only thing I wish it had was a contained filament system, like my AnyCubic Kobra S1 where it can dry the filament and store all 4 spools. That was a real steal, I got the S1 Combo for about $450 at the time. It’s been a great machine, I have about 800 hours on it so far. My ATF is still my Flash

My 10 yr old bought himself the AD5M for his bday last week and he's been printing for a week straight with minimal supervision. No regrets with choosing FlashForge.

No, flash print is slicing software, which is what formats the models for the printer. If you want to do designs there are some free options. Tinkercad is a good place to do some simple and free cad. Also I would recommend Orca or Orca-forge as a slicer instead of flash print. Better options and it

There isn't a point in the video I linked where they specifically show the pulleys themselves. It just shows how to disassemble the outer portion of the machine enough so that you can see the pulley shafts easily to lubricate them. Here is a post by u/PremiumMekanik that shows where to look and circ

I appreciate the initiative, but does no one know how to use Snipping Tool (Windows) or CMD+Shift+4 (Mac) to take a screenshot? The blur on some of those pics just made my eyes cross. For anyone that doubt the 300BLK settings, it’s possible you either haven’t tried it or don’t have your machine cali

No that version sucks too. This is what i use. With no controls on the UI, just thru the web interface. https://github.com/xblax/flashforge_ad5m_klipper_mod Forge-x has some pretty promising firmware too, its just very early in development yet. I tried it for a short time but ill wait for it to be mor

I have an ad5m, ad5x and just bought the h2s lol. I print things for people on fb market place, so the ad5m paid for itself and the X plus a ton of filament. Those two paid for my H2S. I don’t think I’ll get any more but I’ll prob still use the flash forge machines to fund the rest of my hobby 😂. I

It's definitely 220x220x220mm build volume I have one with around 700 hours on it and they are great until they start having issues. Support sucks imo and I've had to replace my nozzle/hot end, extruder cable, and extruder board all within 3 months of owning it. I believe either the cable or board h

I bought my AD5M, just over a year ago, for christmas. I never once used anything Flash Forge SOFTWARE branded. Not my intention but based on my research, seemed like going the fully open source route made the most sense. I started with raw open source OrcaSlicer, installed (at the time) beta driver

I went from a modded ender 3, prints very well if not a little slow. The flash forge just works, and for a great price. I have the ad5m and it just does what you tell if, and unlike how Bambu if making their printers, it's yours to do with what you want. No having to sign in. Even when I do manual c
