Way better method of monitoring your printer remotely than Flashforges awful app. Better control over just about every aspect of your printer. Bed mesh function that allows you to make sure your bed is physically level, which makes the auto-level way more accurate and prints come out better. Select

Here is the most recent, titled Forge-X https://github.com/DrA1ex/ff5m/ Here is an older mod from last year: https://github.com/xblax/flashforge_ad5m_klipper_mod Read through the documentation on the forge x mod and youll be

It's definitely 220x220x220mm build volume I have one with around 700 hours on it and they are great until they start having issues. Support sucks imo and I've had to replace my nozzle/hot end, extruder cable, and extruder board all within 3 months of owning it. I believe either the cable or board h

ZMOD is the only one I know of for the AD5X... For the AD5M there is Forge-X? Personally I'm running ZMOD on my AD5X - can't recommend it enough! Flashing that is the very first thing that everyone should do - kinda like using Edge to download Firefox! lol.

You don't need the ssh access unless you intend to go back to stock and Forge-X uninstall nuked your AD5M json file (it did for mine) which I believe is a rare side effect of the removal process. The screen loss is just some of the stock functions but you can control literally everything from a web

I bought my AD5M, just over a year ago, for christmas. I never once used anything Flash Forge SOFTWARE branded. Not my intention but based on my research, seemed like going the fully open source route made the most sense. I started with raw open source OrcaSlicer, installed (at the time) beta driver

I went from a modded ender 3, prints very well if not a little slow. The flash forge just works, and for a great price. I have the ad5m and it just does what you tell if, and unlike how Bambu if making their printers, it's yours to do with what you want. No having to sign in. Even when I do manual c

Pretty sure you can do that from the "secret menu" https://www.reddit.com/r/FlashForge/comments/1o46u8i/secret_menu_for_calibrating_leveling_sensors_ad5m/ However, if you use ZMOD you can just do it directly, too. The head just needs to come forward a little bit, I suspect.

Flashforge, friend. I have the ad5m pro, would suggest to you the multicolor one tho (forgot its name) Being an android guy i know how important non-proprietary software is. You can mod it to your liking. Forge-x is phenomenal.

I don’t see anyone mention FlashForge. But I’ve been very happy with mine. I have a couple of Ad5m pros that are work horses and a Ad5x that I printed an enclosure for. They’re mostly feature rich aside from an app, but they’re open source so you can install different firmware and get all the contro
