I just bought a venu 3 from Garmin. The app is different but it's clean and Garmin is way more fitness focused also the battery last like 11 days. Google is just pushing AI and premium. Even if no issues, I suppose the battery will get weak by two years so I will just get the battery replaced under warranty in two years. Better than buying a new one for $100. Oh, 100%. I'm not sure if this is the same thread, but I KNOW that some of the Versa line (Versa 3???) batteries were deliberately nerfed by Google after some lawsuit; they claim Versa 2 wasn't involved, but I don't believe them. Allegedly, there's a $50 USD reimbursement you can get...??? I dunno.
