I'll miss you, Fitbit

I've used fitbit since 2016 and was using a versa 3 for years. I road bike, hike, backpack treadmill run. I bought a wyze because it synched to fitbit. A lot of info now is incorrect No longer reflects all the info like it used to now ex I had full breakdown and graphs with my wyze BMI, lean vs fat

Was on a bike ride for 200km, my watch thinks I ran for 15.42km

Actual (sort of) answer: for whatever stupid reason, a large number of fitness watches are REALLY BAD at doing their job during bike workouts even if you tell it you're doing a bike workout. My old Fitbit Versa 3 would never screw up the distance/time, but I'd finish a 30km ride in 60-70min and it w

Google always makes it worse

Paid shills LOL where do I get my Garmin bucks. It's the fact that a loooooot of people have had fit it's for a lot of years like me having it since 2014. My versa 3 and the scale were great for everything I needed untill the update removed my lean vs protein and a whole other metrics from my wyze s

Another long-term Fitbit user biting the dust

Definitely perspective. I went to a Garmin venu 3 after using my versa 3 for years due to the new Fitbit update butchering my wyze scale and cycling. I actually find the Garmin app very straight forward and useful. Also the recording on the venu 3 for workouts is too notch. I do dips it recognizes t

Moved from Fitbit to Apple Watch many years ago. This week I went back to Fitbit.. and WOW

Yeah it doesn't sound bad if you have the air and just need general sleep, treadmill information and hr. The big issue is the Fitbit app had multiple items like the versa 3,4, charge, i mean tons of others. The versa 3 I have tracked dmy cycling rides and provided speed breakdowns, hr rate breakdown

Would you buy a Fitbit watch again?

Same here. My Versa 3 died and rather than ‘upgrade’ to a significantly worse specced Versa 4 I went with Apple Watch 10. Hate the poor battery life, and even after 18 months I can’t learn to love the Apple metrics / UI. Really miss the Fitbit functionality and data if old. A case study in the purch

There's hope

I just bought a venu 3 from Garmin. The app is different but it's clean and Garmin is way more fitness focused also the battery last like 11 days. Google is just pushing AI and premium. I don't want that garbage the old Fitbit was clean and informative. This is coming from somone who got Fitbit back

Specifically, what is wrong with the new Google Health App?

I have a versa 3. Sleep and step functions are all I use in the fitbit app. Since Google took over I have not once had an accurate sleep ot step score. According to app I sleep around 4 hour a night and sometimes 2. This is not correct by a long shot. 6 to 7 hours is usual Steps are similarly defect

Active zone minutes?

Did you have the Versa 1? That arguably had the best exercise heart rate of any fitbit ever. I went from the Versa 1 to the Versa 3 and was very unhappy. Walking hard, outdoor biking, indoor stepper. All about 90% below zone. I am 100% certain my efforts were more than sitting around watching Tv. I

Fitbit absolutely ruined!!

Oh no worries I always thought I needed one lol it just confirmed it. The sleep tracking is ok on the Garmin. I do think my versa 3 was more accurate with sleep but that was before the update and haven't I used it after the update. It is accurate though not saying the Garmin isn't. Fitness pal does
