Why do they keep releasing mi bands with no major upgrade?
IPhone culture of needing the new item every year? So playing to that crowd. Because Huawei / another maker released a new one? To prevent your customers from switching to a different brand because they have a new model but you don't. Again, the above point = it's very cheap compared to Fitbit, Garm

Switching to Fitbit air
I sold my helio and whoop recently. Kept the fitb it air as I feel like I would prefer something that’s light and comfortable on my hand rather than those stuffs. I would say it’s not that much difference in readings between helio and fitbit air in my experience

Tried switching to Garmin.... it wasnt what I expected and I returned it
I actually did the opposite – I went from a fancy Garmin back to my old Fitbit because the calorie burn estimates felt way off. Garmin's metrics for training were cool, but the sleep tracking and calories never lined up with reality for me. Fitbit might be more basic but the numbers have been way mo

Should I get a Fitbit?
Its accurate enough for me but I use it as a baseline. Lets say it says I am walking 8k steps a day but I am really walking 10k a day. Next week if I walk 9k a day I know that I have increased my steps by 1k a day. Same with heart rate and every other metric it gives you. My GF hates my approach bec

Apple Watch is obviously the best to pair with Bevel, but if you had to rank the rest of the devices - Garmin, Oura, Fitbit…etc how would you rank them for friendliest Bevel Capability?
I’m finding my Apple Watch Ultra and my Sisters Apple Watch s10 is giving wildly inaccurate readings. My HRV jumped from 24 to 46– that is nowhere near my normal range. My sisters HRV is 50-70 and she’s not an athlete by any means. Meanwhile my Fitbit Air is giving realistic results and good data.

Looking for a WHOOP alternative that provides raw sensor data without a subscription
You can do this with Fitbit (I mean Google Health) and with the device you have. You can export the data from your whoop in health connect on Android or health kit on iphone, and you'll see all your data in all the graphs Then you can export all the data (RAW if you only use one device at a time) in

How do I start working out?
First starts with committing. Don't do it from a point of motivation, as motivation fades. Just set time aside, like an hour ever other day and just do it. Even if you don't feel like it, just do it. Start with calisthenics, most are body weight exercises that have different variants that range from

Do fitbits really give accurate heart rates?
I recently had open heart surgery and use a Fitbit to track my RHR and exertion during exercise. During rehab, everyone in the class had to have a Fitbit/Garmin/other. I was seeing discrepancies between my Fitbit and the treadmill one day. Next class I wore my Garmin chest strap, my Fitbit charge 6,
